EYA and Boston Properties have partnered in the development of the 40.74 acre site into a mixed-use residential and commercial project including proposed 194 townhomes, 112 condominium units, pool and community center, and neighborhood grocery store. 14.3 acres of the site are mandated to be naturally preserved and it is anticipated that walking trails will be designed throughout the site.
VIKA Maryland is currently providing comprehensive planning, civil engineering, surveying and landscape architectural services including research and feasibility; topographic survey; Conceptual Development and Conceptual Landscape Plans.
VIKA Maryland provided professional services to Boston Properties for their portion of the Tower Oaks development in the City of Rockville. In addition to the preliminary planning for their overall campus, including seven office buildings, structured parking garages and Clyde’s at Tower Oaks Restaurant, our services have included the final engineering, permitting and as-built services for the first two office buildings, 2600 Tower Oaks Boulevard and One Preserve Parkway, the Clyde’s Tower Oaks Lodge Restaurant, and Preserve Parkway, an environmentally sensitive roadway woven through the forest with extensive tree preservation. Additional services included the boundary topography study and site engineering construction documents, including Sediment Control, Storm Water Management, Grade Establishment, Storm Drain and Paving Plan, Water and Sewer Plans, Stream Relocation, and Floodplain Study.
