Project Description
Qiagen is a multi-national biotechnology research and development firm with ongoing expansions and campus modifications. The latest expansion includes a new entry court and landscape defined by a new entry and wing on the east side of the site.
VIKA worked closely with the team to create a unique arced circulation system culminating in an entry plaza and a bold native planting palette to contrast with the striking contemporary architecture. The site highlight of the entry sequence, however, is the proposed wave lawn that creates a trio of undulating native grass lawn panels rolling down to the expansive glass entry.
Specific services include feasibility studies, landscape architecture design, entitlement planning, LEED certification support, final engineering, and construction administration.
