VIKA Maryland responsibilities included preparation of the Detailed Site Plan and various engineering design plans for the mixed-use transit-oriented development located adjacent to the Branch Avenue Metro Station with includes 801 multi-family dwelling units, 61,000 SF of retail and 8,000 SF of Office Space developed in three phases, within the MXT Zone. Additionally, comprehensive engineering services from Detailed Site Plan through Construction Phase Services in coordination with MNCPPC and DPIE were incorporated. The first phase of the multi-family building is under construction (416 apartment and 4,104 SF office); the design plans included Stormwater Management Concept plan, Stormwater Management technical design plans, Erosion and Sediment Control plans, water and sewer plans, site grading plans, public and private storm drain plans, maintenance of traffic plans, pavement marking and signage plans.
